	Kuhns Brothers has been providing kiln-dried, graded and certified log home components for over 20 years. Our logs, beams, and purlins are kiln-dried 4-6 weeks to bring them to an average moisture content of less than 19 percent and thereby eliminating the problems associated with the house settling several inches over time. Kiln drying will greatly reduce checking, twisting and warping. Sap and pitch are crystallized so they do not weep like air-dried homes and more importantly, kiln drying will sterilize the logs thereby killing bugs, eggs, larvae and wood eating fungus.
	There are a variety of log profiles to choose from, each available in three package options, including our famous "no shop guarantee" package.
